This year's Father's Day was lot's of fun. After church, we went to a cookout at Jeremy and Beka's house. We had a great time with the family. Caleb played outside in the huge back yard with all of his cousins, while Caden pretty much slept the whole time and missed out on the festivities. All the guys were inside watching the U.S. Open...I guess they are allowed one day to sit inside and watch tv. :) After lunch at the Pharr's house, we headed to my parent's house for another cookout. We weren't able to get a good pic at my parent's house...mostly because it was the end of the day and you could really tell that Caleb had not had a good nap. Overall, we had a great time celebrating all of the important and special men in our lives. To Pappy and "Paw", thank you for your neverending love and support that you have given your families all of these years. We are who we are because of your amazing example. Words cannot fully express how grateful we truly are...We love you!
Shane, you are such a loving, tender, and strong man. I am constantly amazed at how wonderful you are. You make me want to be a better person. I thank God every day for bringing you into my life. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our family. You are our rock and I don't know what we would do without you. You are the best Daddy to Caleb and Caden and I can't wait for the moments to come when you can share all of your hobbies, and your love for life with "your boys".
